Description:
This is the general store and roadhouse which was built
during the Garnier occupation of the Rancho, but which continued
in business for many years afterwards. It was located on the opposite
side of El Camino Real (Ventura Blvd).
The wares advertised on his signs are
"Meals at all hours, 25 cents"
"Sulphur Baths"
"Wines, Liquors & Cigars"
"Lager Beer"
